  • Are the house plans copyrighted? All renderings and house plans contained are the exclusive property of Builders Plan Mart and reproduction in whole or in part is strictly prohibited by law. Floorplans may not be resold or copied. We will not be responsible for errors. Strict penalties will be enforced for violators of copyright laws.
  • Can you do custom design? No, we do not offer plan modifications at this time.
  • What is your licensing agreement? There is a Single-Use and Multi-Use Agreement. Please read the agreements before placing your order.
  • How many sets do I need? We will send you one reproducible floorplan on vellum. You are able to make as many prints as you need from this.
  • How long before I receive the house plans? This depends on when the order is placed. In most cases we process your order within 24 hours and if we receive your order before 5pm Central time, it will be processed same-day. You will be provided with a tracking number to monitor the shipping and delivery of your set of blueprints.
  • Is your website secure for online purchases? Your personal information is protected in our database using encryption software and is used strictly for our account management. Your personally identifiable data will not sold or passed on to any other companies or organizations.
  • What is the shipping policy?

  • What is your refund policy? Purchases are of house floorplans "as is", sales are final and NO refunds are issued. House plans may not be returned for credit under any circumstances. Builders Plan Mart is not liable for and disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness of purpose, damages of any kind (incidental, special, consequential, indirect) including loss of profits (actual or anticipated), business opportunity or other economic loss resulting from the use of house plans provided by Builders Plan Mart. It is the clients responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the house plans provided by Builders Plan Mart prior to use and construction. Builders Plan Marts liability to you or any third party shall not exceed the price paid for the Builders Plan Mart product.
  • What is a Reproducible Media? This a single set of floorplans on either erasable vellum or Mylar: Builders Plan Mart determines the medium. Once purchased, modifications can be made to the house plans by you and/or your agent.
  • Why Buy Reproducible Media? Reproducible media gives you the most flexibility. You will need approx. 5 copies of your blueprints for initial quotes, your builder, subcontractors, lenders, etc. In addition, you may want or need to make changes to the original design. When you purchase Reproducible Media, you will receive a copyright release letter authorizing you to make changes and copies of the finalized floorplans. You want to ensure that everyone is working from the same set of house plans.
